Latina cancer survivors are individuals of Latin American descent who have been diagnosed with and treated for cancer. Research in this area focuses on understanding the unique experiences and challenges faced by Latina cancer survivors, such as cultural beliefs and practices, access to healthcare, language barriers, and disparities in cancer outcomes. This research seeks to improve the quality of cancer care and support services for Latina survivors, as well as to address the social determinants of health that may impact their cancer survivorship journey. Additionally, studies may explore the impact of cancer on Latina survivors' physical, emotional, and social well-being, as well as interventions to enhance their overall quality of life.
